Jeffrey L. Walker
Jeff founded TenFold in 1993. In 1999, Goldman Sachs took TenFold public and, after a $100M year TenFold exceeded $2B in market capitalization. From 1993 to 1996, Mr. Walker was TenFold’s CEO; after 1996, he was its CTO. From 1985 to 1991, Mr. Walker held several management positions at Oracle Corporation, including EVP and General Manager Applications Division, CFO (1987 to 1991), and SVP Marketing (1986). Mr. Walker was the designer of Oracle’s applications products and founder of Oracle’s Applications Division – building that organization from zero staff to over 400 developers. Before Oracle, Mr. Walker founded and was CEO of Walker Interactive Products. He holds a BA in mathematics from Brown University.
Steven Berger
Steven Berger is an investor specializing in early stage companies usually with a focus of cloud based software services. He is currently President of NYF Properties, and has been CEO and Chairman of iParadigms, LLC and New York Fabrics. He also serves on several boards, including Home Comfort Zones and iParadigms and advises several other companies. He serves as Chairman of the Chief Executive Roundtable in the SF Bay Area and is Chairman of The Partners Program, a non-profit organization that provides free academic programs for underserved Oakland youth. Steve received his BA in economics from Stanford University.
Steve Ricketts
Steve spent his early career in New York and San Francisco in investments and finance with Blyth Eastman Dillon and Bechtel and as V.P. Manager of Financial Analysis for Wells Fargo. He then relocated to the Sierra Foothills and, for the past 30 years has directed strategic growth and bottom-line results as a consultant and key advisor to entrepreneurs in a wide variety of industries. His expertise includes corporate finance and investment banking with emphasis in equity/debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, due-diligence and financial analysis. He has been an officer and/or director of more than 25 companies. He holds B.A. and M.B.A. Degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.
Phil Cardman
Phil is a lawyer with 30 years of expertise in corporate and commercial law and international and intellectual property matters. Mr. Cardman is a director or advisory director of several startup ventures and served as the vice president, general counsel and secretary for Objective Systems Integrators, makers of network management software. Mr. Cardman began his career in private law practice at Pettit & Martin in San Francisco. He has a BA degree from Washington University and a JD degree from Duke University.
Rand Heer, President and Chief Architect
Rand has 35 years financial management and startup experience spanning manufacturing, biotechnology, software and IT services. He was the founder of Pillar Corporation which developed the first enterprise budget and forecasting package later acquired by Hyperion/Oracle. He also founded three other technology companies, all with successful exits, focusing on financial systems and OLAP reporting. Rand has an MBA from Harvard University.
